St Martin on the Wall, Wareham
St Martin on the Wall, in Wareham has a small and extremely welcoming congregation, who see themselves as offering a midweek sanctuary from the hustle and bustle in the midst of our weekday lives. There is a midweek Holy Communion Book of Common Prayer service on Wednesday's at 11am. To check all service times and dates, please refer to our calendar.
The building was built in 1030, and the church contains early medieval wall paintings, along with an effigy of Lawrence of Arabia, attracting many visitors throughout the year, but especially in the summer months.
